Zagreb Public transport

Zagreb’s public transportation system is called ZET, short for Zagrebački Električni Tramvaj. It is made up primarily of buses and trams that zig zag throughout the city and extend beyond to neighboring cities including Velika Gorica where the airport is located.

Public transportation and taxi

The Panorama hotel is situated across from the sports hall called „Dom Sportova“. Tram lines 3, 9 and 12 bring you to the hotel. Get off at the Trešnjevački Square tram stop.

Airport

From Pleso Airport, you can take a taxi or a special Croatia Airlines bus 290 (direction Kvaternikov trg) that goes to the in Zagreb. Get off at the 13th stop (Radnička). Then take the tram line 3 (direction west, towards Ljubljanica). Get off at the 4th stop (Trešnjevački Square). The hotel is situated to the north of the square, walking distance 5-10 minutes.

Central Bus Station

From the Central Bus Station take the tram 3, directions towards Ljubljanica to  Trešnjevački Square (10 stops ). The hotel is situated to the north of the square, walking distance 5-10 minutes.

 

Railway

If you are travelling by train, take the tram line 9 (direction west, towards Ljubljanica) from the Central Railway Station. Get off at the 4th stop (Trešnjevački Square). The hotel is situated to the north of the square, walking distance 5-10 minutes.

 

If you travel by car

 

From the East

If you are coming from the East (highway A5 – Slavonika), after the toll station, drive straight down on Slavonska Avenue until you get to the centre, then turn right on Savska Street and follow the signs for Panorama Zagreb.

 

From the West

If you are coming from the West (highway A2, Bregana border crossing, Slovenia) take the Zagreb West exit. Continue driving along on Zagrebačka Avenue (9 km), then turn left on Savska Street and follow the signs for Panorama Zagreb.

 

From the South

If you are returning from the Croatian coast travelling on highway A1 towards Zagreb, after the toll station continue on Jadranska Avenue until you get to the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit on the roundabout and continue driving on Jadranski Bridge. At the first traffic lights, turn right on Savska Street and continue driving towards the city centre following the signs for Panorama hotel.
